INVESTMENT

Money is, and perhaps has always been, a hot topic. It's understandable. You want to know when you spend your hard-earned money that it will result in desired changes in your lived experience. I share that desire, and although I receive abundant help myself, I am always discerning. With that in mind, let me lead you through the process I use when I am ready to seek support to level up my life.

First and foremost: What will it cost me NOT to invest in help right now? This remains the MOST important question that I ask myself. If I decide to penny-pinch at this time, what will it cost me in:

  • TIME: I do not believe that humans heal alone. Therefore all I am really doing if I decide to postpone asking for help, is delaying the inevitable. I am making a decision to stay stuck.

  • ENERGY: During your day, how often do you experience genuine vitality, a sense of purpose, and the vibrancy of being alive? If this is not your consistent experience, YOU ARE MISSING OUT!

  • MONEY: The order here is deliberate. This is less important to me than the previous two. But of course, it is still important. So, I see a price tag on some help that I know I need, and I take an involuntary sharp breath. Wow! That's a lot of money. But what does it cost me NOT to spend this right now? How much will this avoidance cost me financially, in bad decisions, habits I can't break, addictive behaviors, and other forms of avoidance to distract me from the FACT that I'm not happy? Suddenly, it doesn't seem so expensive. When looked at through this lens, it is undoubtedly saving me money, and a great deal of it at that, in the long term.

So now we look at what it does cost, remembering at the same time what these numbers can save you. These numbers are reflective of the enormous and lasting change that is possible in our work together, as well as the wealth of experience I am bringing to the process. Say goodbye to feeling hopelessly stuck. Say goodbye to feeling lost and alone in this.

What You Should Know

Do you accept my insurance?
At this time, I am only accepting private pay clients into my practice. Some insurance providers will allow you to submit a superbill for 'out of network' providers like myself. If this is the case, I can provide you a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. You will still be responsible for payment at the time of service, and you will need to check with your insurance as to whether they are able to reimburse via this means.

Why private pay?

This is a measured decision based on my own ethics and values. I find the approach of the insurance providers to my profession to be very limiting and restrictive, both for clients and clinicians. I got in this profession to help people, and too often, insurance providers create a barrier and position themselves as an arbiter of the help. They decide who can and can't receive help, they decide how long is 'appropriate' for the person to be helped, and they require diagnoses that sometimes aren't really necessary. I guess if they're paying for the services, to an extent they have the right to do that. But I'm all about empowering people, not dis-empowering them. If you need the services that I offer, you CAN afford it. There's a necessary mindset shift that I can help you with.

There is an invitation here: Believe in yourself! Stop limiting yourself to what is possible. Let's jump in and find out how YOU can have a better experience of life every day, how you can wake up every day excited to live the day ahead rather than staying small and stuck.  I believe in your potential, and I can help you find your way.
