OUR WORK TOGETHER

My Philosophy

I am interested in what feels most alive at any given moment. I believe that the client has the answers to their own issues locked away inside them, and the job of the therapist is to help them to gain access to those answers. I believe in approaching the experience playfully and with a childlike sense of curiosity, and have found this attitude to achieve the greatest results. I also believe that the client has a right to feel all their feelings, even the ones that have previously been labelled 'bad', in order to help them develop a full spectrum of emotional intelligence. I am energized by being in genuine contact with the person whose presence I am in, and value authentic communication above all else.

Who do I work with?
I have a deep trust that whomever finds me and asks for what i have to offer is who i need to be working with. I have a rich depth of both professional skills and life experience, and I am ready and willing to offer those to anybody who feels they can benefit.
That being said, some of the greatest joy I have found in my professional work (probably in part because it relates to some of my own struggles at different times in my life) includes working with men on finding their place in today's world, working with families that are experiencing systemic issues within their family unit, working with people around sex and in particular blockages to their fullest expression of their authentic sexual self, and working with people on the 'big' questions; God, spiritual connection, death, life purpose.
